As an ASU alum, you are welcome to connect with one of the Career and Professional Development Services career advisors to discuss your individual career needs and questions. One-on-one advising is a centerpiece of ASU's career resources for students, staff and alumni.

You can discuss your career development needs in a variety of ways:

  • In-Person Appointments: These services are available at the Tempe, Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic
and West campus locations. Meet one-on-one with a professional career advisor at a time convenient for you.
  • Virtual Appointments: Our team of advisors can speak with you over the phone or through online video technology.
  • Professional Career Advising by Appointment: Meet one-on-one with a professional career advisor at a time convenient for you.
  • Career Peer Advising: Career peers are current ASU students trained and equipped with the background and knowledge to help you identify the best career resources, respond to your questions, and help you polish your resume.

To request a career advising appointment, log in to your Handshake account using your ASURITE ID and password. If you don't have an account, you can register on Handshake using your ASU email address (ASURITE@asu.edu). Contact ASU's University Technology Office at 480-965-6500 if you need to access or reset your ID and password.

As an alum, you will need to provide your ASU degree and academic college information within your Handshake profile.
