How Do I Setup ASU Wireless on Windows 7?

To setup wireless on your Windows 7 device, please follow the steps below:

1. Click the Networking icon in the system tray by the system clock. You should see asu wireless as an available wireless connection.

Note: If you do not see asu listed in the available connections then the asu wireless connection may be out of range from your current location. Please try connecting from another campus location.

2. Select asu from the list of available networks.

3. Enter your ASURITE ID and password in the Network Authentication window and click OK.

 

4. If you get a window for a Windows Security Alert about validating the security certificate, click Connect. This certificate and its credentials are signed by ASU and are safe to connect to.

You are now on the ASU wireless network! 

Note: The instructions above should work for most users. However, sometimes it is necessary to manually setup a wireless connection to the ASU network. For manual setup, please see Manual Configuration of ASU Wireless on Windows 7.
