How Do I Change the Amount of the Loan I Accepted?

If you would like to change the loan amount accepted,
watch this video
for instructions or follow the steps below for the loan you wish to change:
Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized) or Perkins Loan
Submit a
Student Loan Adjustment eForm
or
submit a written request in-person or by fax to
Financial Aid and Scholarship Services
. Include your ASU ID number, the loan type and the specific amount you want to accept for the academic year, and your signature.
Parent PLUS Loan
Your parent must submit the
Parent PLUS Loan Action form
to
Financial Aid and Scholarship Services
. This form must be notarized. You can submit the form via mail, in person or by fax.
Private Loan
To change the amount of a private loan, you will need to contact the lender of your private loan in order to determine eligibility for a different amount
