How do I set up and access the SEVP Portal?

After your OPT application has been approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), you will receive an email from do-not-reply.SEVP@ice.dhs.gov at your ASU Public Email address. The subject line will be “Optional Practical Training Approval.” A link will be provided in the email for you to set up your SEVP Portal account.
 
Please note:

  • You must access the initial set up email within 31 days of receiving it.

  • The link contained in the email is for one-time use only.

  • To set up the account, you must log in with the Public Email listed on your My ASU Profile.

  • After you have successfully set up your account, the SEVP Portal can no longer be reached through the setup link. You will need to go to https://sevp.ice.gov/opt/#/login.
