How do I use iClicker?

As a student at ASU, iClicker is completely free to use from your mobile device or computer. 

Create an iClicker student account

Mobile app

1. Select "Sign in through your campus portal" at the bottom of the screen.
2. Sign in using your ASU credentials.
3. When iClicker asks whether you have an account using a different email, select "No" to set up a new account.
4. Review your information, then read and accept iClickers Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
5. Select "Create Account".

Web browser

1. Go to https://www.iclicker.com/.
2. Hover over "Create an Account" in the top right, then select "Student" from the dropdown menu.
3. Search “Arizona State University” and select it in the search results.
4. Select the "Sign In" button.
5. You will be redirected to an ASU sign-in page. Sign in using your ASU credentials.
6. Optional: If you have an iClicker remote, you can register it. You are not required to use an iClicker remote with the iClicker student app.

Seeing your courses

If iClicker finds that you have an account that matches your instructor's official Canvas roster, you'll automatically be enrolled in your instructor's iClicker course

If your instructor is not syncing Canvas rosters with iClicker, you can enroll in the course on your own. You can do this in one of two ways:

• Go to join.iclicker.com and enter your instructor's course-specific join code.
• Use your instructor's course-specific join link.

Your instructor will likely provide you with the course code or join link if needed.

Participating in iClicker Sessions

Your instructor will start course sessions during synchronous class times in which you will respond to questions through polls or quizzes. Your instructor may also use the assignments feature for you to respond outside of class.

1. Open the iClicker app or log in at https://student.iclicker.com/.
2. Select your course from your “Courses” list.
3. Once your instructor has started the iClicker session, select "Join".
