Information
Elective credit is granted to any course that is university-level and transferable according to ASU guidelines.

ASU accepts college-level (not remedial) courses in which a grade of "C" (4.0="A") or better has been earned from regionally accredited colleges and universities.  If a transfer course is not a direct equivalent to a course at ASU, is in a subject area that does not allow for department elective credit, and/or does not fall within an ASU subject area, the course might receive elective credit.

Please note: elective credit may be eligible for general studies designations.
