UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) uses Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which runs vertically through Greenwich England, as the world’s time reference point. The terms UTC and GMT are often used interchangeably. Time zones east of this line are ahead of UTC/GMT and those west are behind the UTC/GMT. The specific number of hours difference from UTC/GMT may vary based on daylight savings times. If you need additional assistance converting to your time zone, there are several web sites you can consult,  thetimezoneconverter.com, everytimezone.com or timeanddate.com, everytimezone.com It is you, the student's, responsibility to submit assignments, tests and quizzes on time. No extensions will be granted.

Remember, it is your responsibility to understand UTC and determine the due dates and times for your time zone. Make sure you are able to convert it appropriately, ideally before the first set of assignments is due, and certainly before the midterm, to avoid any unnecessary stress. Deadline extensions will NOT be granted for misunderstanding UTC time. If you have 1 week to complete graded assignments, the midterm, or a final. It is in your best interest to complete these early to avoid issues with deadlines and technical concerns. Once these deadlines pass, you can no longer take these graded assessments.
