Information
Funded by ASU students through the collection of the mandatory Financial Aid Trust Fee and matched by the state legislature, the Financial Aid Trust Grant is available in limited amounts each year.

You will be given priority consideration if you are:
  • An eligible Arizona resident or an underrepresented student, seeking your first bachelor's degree.
  • Completed your FAFSA by March 1 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Submit all requested documents listed on My ASU Financing Tasks within a few weeks of being requested.
  • Demonstrate high financial need.
Please note the following:
  • Receiving a FA Trust Grant in a prior year does not guarantee future FA Trust Grant offers. Your eligibility is evaluated each year based on the information included on your FAFSA, as well as available funding at the time you are offered financial aid.
  • All awarded aid is based on full time enrollment. If you receive a FA Trust Grant and are enrolled for less than 12 credit hours as of your census date your grant will be prorated.
  • FA Trust Grants are generally not offered after you have earned more than 120 credit hours.
For more information regarding grants, please visit the ASU Grants website.

For descriptions of mandatory registration fees, please view the Registration and Tuition Payment Guides.
