What is the Transfer Achievement Award?

The Transfer Achievement Award is available for Arizona residents who transfer from any Arizona community college, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. There is no application for this award. 

To be automatically considered, you must submit the following:
  • an ASU admission application by Feb. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring
  • the application fee by Feb. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring
  • academic transcripts from each school attended by Feb. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring
  • a FAFSA by Jan. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring
Awards can be renewed for a total of four consecutive semesters by completing 24 ASU credit hours with a 2.50 or higher ASU cumulative GPA and submitting a FAFSA by the above deadlines each year that demonstrates continued financial need.

Please note: This award is different from the New American University Transfer Scholarship for nonresidents.
