If ASU does not award any credit for an exam, it will not be listed in the Exam Search Test Type and Test Name menus.

Additional information about Credit by Exam options can be found in the ASU catalog.
  • Please remember that equivalencies are based on the catalog year in which you completed the examination. If the test was taken in a prior academic year, you should refer to the catalog for that year or search the Transfer Guide for more information.
A few notes about Cambridge International exams:
  • ASU may award credit if you completed a Cambridge course in your secondary school, and you have taken a Cambridge International AS or A level examination.
  • ASU does not award credit for O-level examinations or the IGCSE exam.
  • Cambridge Score Translation—Cambridge exams are awarded letter scores which are translated to numeric values by ASU according to the following scale:
5 = A
4 = B
3 = C
2 = D
1 = E

Submitting Examination Scores
  • In order to have credit added to your record, please have your scores sent directly from the testing service to ASU. You can find information about submitting examination scores in this article.
  • Please contact University Registrar Services for additional assistance.
